We love this tool & only use the Herm Sprenger brand specifically because of the even pressure that it distributes around the dog's neck. They take extra safety measures to make sure the tool is not only safe & comfortable sitting on the dogs neck, but also effective for training.

The tool is very versatile & when used properly, opens up a line of communication that helps make things more clear and understanding for dogs!

We know it can look a little scary or medieval but we make sure you know how to properly & safely use it in ALL of our training! This tool can very easily be misused (which is why it has such a bad stigma!), so please make sure you are learning how to use this tool under the supervision & guidance of a professional dog trainer.

This collar is NOT meant to hurt or harm any dog! The pressure being applied lets your dog know what you are asking of them- hence that clear communication we mentioned! We use this along with the permission based training method (which you can read about here) to help dog’s make better choices in situations the may be uncertain in.
